Pub Accommodation in Yorkshire

Pub accommodation is one of them things where you could have the best holiday of your life or the worst, due to the way pubs run it’s a very informal experience your not going to get the same service that you would in a hotel … or so you thought. I’ve reviewed 3 pubs’ that offer some of the best pub accommodation North Yorkshire has to offer.

The Downe Arms, Wykeham

Sat on the edge of the magnificent North Yorkshire Moors Park, 10 minutes from Scarborough and 15 minutes from Pickering, this pub has a great look and friendly welcome.

Perfect location as a base to explore the delights of North Yorkshire whether it be walking The Cleveland Way along the rugged coastline, visiting one of our four heritage sites, golfing on a championship golf course, or riding the steam train from Pickering into Heart Beat Country It’s all on your door step for you to enjoy. Ideal for cyclists, shooters and anglers.

Accommodation wise the Downe Arms has 10 individual en-suite bedrooms with sumptuous Georgian windows. All rooms offer a charming, indulgent place to relax and enjoy, the bedrooms provide country elegance and the same level of comfort that you expect from a traditional country inn.

In truth the Downe Arms offers a subtle blend off traditional and contemporary allowing you to enjoy your stay even more, if you want pub accommodation that treats you well whilst skipping the formalities of a hotel the Downe Arms should be your number one choice.

The Green Man Family Inn, Malton

Situated in the peaceful town of Malton in North Yorkshire The Green Man Family Inn is pub accommodation at it’s highest level.

Close to the historical city of York, The Green Man Family Inn can act as the perfect base for local attractions such as Castle Howard a stunning stately home or Flamingo Land a theme park located in nearby village Pickering.
